Sponsorship Opportunities and Policies

 

Increase your company’s visibility! Register as an Exhibitor or Sponsor! The 2nd International Peptide Symposium / 17th American Peptide Symposium is seeking sponsorship for the following high-profile events and items to be made available to our Symposium delegates. It is our priority to provide prominent exposure and acknowledgment of our Sponsors in order to maximize their potential return for their sponsorship!

Social Events - Sponsors’ names will be prominently displayed during the event and receive additional benefits as detailed under Sponsor Benefits, below. Please e-mail us at dlyons@tpims.org regarding sponsorship opportunities!

  • Opening Reception and Icebreaker

Our Opening Reception promises to be a great success as the first social activity of the Symposium. It will be held on Saturday, June 9th, and will feature live jazz and blues from one of San Diego’s most popular bands. Hors d’oeuvres will be plentiful, and the hosted bar will provide beer, wine, and soft drinks for everyone.

  • Closing Banquet

What a great way to end a great Symposium! On Thursday, June 14th, the Closing Banquet will begin with a open bar (beer, wine and soft drinks) reception, and will be followed by dinner, dessert and coffee/open bar. While desserts are being served, we will be proud to present San Diego’s own Rockola, www.rockola.com winner of 5 Best of San Diego awards, and known nationally as America’s premiere 60's music band.

  • Speaker’s Banquet ($15,000)

This Banquet will be attended by a select group of delegates, including its sponsor, Symposium speakers, and other prestigious Symposium delegates and VIPs. To be held on Monday, June 11th, it will include motor coach transportation to and from the Stephen Birch Aquarium, where cocktails, dinner and dessert will be served against a dramatic view of the coastline and sunset. Sponsor will receive 2 invitations to the Speaker’s Banquet, in addition to the benefits already listed under Sponsor Benefits, below.

  • Tuesday Excursion: Beach Party and Volleyball Tournament ($15,000)

Relax on the beach with a Baja Barbeque, play volleyball or just work on your tan. Motor coach transportation will be included.

  • Happy Hour (3 events @ $10,000 each)

Happy Hours will be held on the evenings of Sunday, June 10th, Monday, June 11th, and Wednesday, June 12th, in the Exhibits Hall. The bar will be open and serving beer, wine and sodas from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

  • Coffee Breaks (5 events @ $7,000 each)

Coffee Breaks will be held on the mornings of Sunday, June 10th through Thursday, June 14th, will include coffee and tea, and will be located in the Exhibits Hall.

  • Tuesday Excursion: Golf Tournament ($5,000)

The 4th Annual Golf Tournament will be held at the beautiful Carmel Mountain Country Club and Resort, on Tuesday, June 12th. In addition to the golfing, participants will enjoy boxed lunches, and an awards barbeque following the tournament.

These high-quality large canvas tote bags are designed to be used throughout the Symposium, and over and over again afterward. Your 3-color logo will be imprinted on the large front pocket, layered over the bold blue-striped nautical theme of the bags. The Tote Bags will be filled with fun-in-the-sun items such as those listed below, and will be given to each Symposium delegate upon check-in at the Registration desk.

A Symposium Beach Towel will be included in each Tote Bag. These towels are made of thick, 11 lb. 100% cotton. The 30" x 60" towels will include your 3-color logo.

  • Sun Visor ($7,000)

Sure to be a Symposium favorite, these Sun Visors are made of a comfortable white 100% cotton, and will include your 2 or 3-color logo. Sun Visors will be included in each Tote Bag.

  • Collapsible Insulated Beverage Holder ($5,000)

Insulated Beverage Holders are popular items for use poolside or on the beach, keeping canned beverages cool. Included in each Symposium Tote Bag, these beverage holders will feature your 2 or 3-color logo.

  • SPF-15 Sunscreen ($5,000)

Sunscreen is a necessity in San Diego! This 2 oz. bottle of sunscreen will be included in the Symposium Tote Bag, and will include your 2 or 3-color logo.

  • Lip Balm on a Rope ($5,000)

The Lip Balm will be included in the Tote Bags, and will include your 2 or 3-color logo.

Add your company’s name and logo to each delegate’s name tag. Paper name tags will be inserted into plastic holders, and will be worn by all registered delegates.

In-Kind Contributions

In-Kind contributions will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and will require a minimum of $500 sponsorship, in addition to the approved items. Please review Sponsor Benefit Levels, above, for the levels of benefits available.

 

* Symposium registration includes admission to all scientific sessions, posters, & exhibits; all conference materials; opening reception & closing banquet; all breaks and lunches; and the Symposium Proceedings.

** Symposium accompanying person registration includes admission to the opening reception and closing banquet, all refreshment breaks and lunches. It does not include the conference materials, scientific sessions, or Symposium Proceedings.

Sponsor Applications and Policies

Sponsor Applications and Registration forms are available at PCMI web site.

Following approval of applications, Sponsor confirmations will be made on a first-paid basis. A letter confirming Sponsorship will be sent upon approval of the application and receipt of full payment.

Please be advised that some sponsored items or events will have early deadlines for printing, and failure to provide timely logo or artwork as requested may result in no exposure for a particular item or event. These printing deadlines will be included in the Confirmation of Approved Application letter. Sponsors also interested in Booth space must apply via the Application for Exhibit Space at PCMI.

We accept the following forms of payment: Check (drawn against a U.S. bank) or International Money Order (in U.S. dollars), Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. For payments by wire transfer, please contact Professional Conference Management Inc. at 858-565-9921 or pam@pcmisandiego.com for bank wire transfer information.

Cancellations made by February 28, 2001, will incur an administrative fee of $500 U.S. The remainder of the deposit will be refunded.

Due to printing deadlines, no refunds will be made for cancellations occurring after February 28, 2001.
